Tell us the uniform load, concentrated wheel load, span, and deflection limit, and we size the steel to match: welded and pressure-locked bar grating in the right bearing-bar depth and spacing, heavy-duty custom grates rated for AASHTO H-20/HS-20 vehicle loading, and structural steel proportioned to real loads rather than guesswork.

Engineered drawings and documentation

Industrial work lives and dies on documentation. Before steel is cut, we produce shop and fabrication drawings you can review, mark up, and route through your own engineering and EHS teams. For structural and elevated work, we coordinate stamped, professional-engineer-sealed drawings so the structure carries the calculations behind it, what it's rated for, how it gets there, and the standards it's built to.

That paper trail is what gets a mezzanine or platform signed off, what satisfies a building inspector, and what your insurer and joint health and safety committee want on file. We deliver fabrication that passes inspection because the engineering was done up front, not reverse-engineered after a flag during sign-off.

Durability in harsh environments

Plant environments are unforgiving. Wash-down bays, chemical exposure, salt and de-icer at the dock, abrasion from steady traffic, freeze-thaw on exterior structures; each one attacks unprotected steel differently. We spec the alloy and finish to the actual exposure: hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion resistance and long service life, stainless for sanitary and chemical-process areas, and abrasion-resistant detailing where wear is the real enemy.

The same logic carries to loading dock equipment (dock plates, bumpers, edge angles, bollards, and barriers) that absorbs impact day after day. 4. Galvanizing and finish. Hot-dip galvanizing, painted coatings, or stainless steel are applied to match the exposure, whether that's a wash-down bay, a salted dock apron, or a dry warehouse floor.
5. Installation. Our crews install across the GTA on a schedule that fits your shutdown or maintenance window, and we ship finished metalwork across Canada when installation isn't part of the scope.
