What to expect from concrete work
Demolition kept controlled
Cutting out failed concrete is planned around existing drains, embedded steel, conduits, and adjacent finished surfaces. Careless breakout can damage the parts the new work is supposed to support.
Finish suits the area
A broom sidewalk, trowelled equipment pad, patched dock edge, and sloped wash area need different finishes. The surface is selected around traffic, drainage, and slip risk.
Metal embedments coordinated
Frames, sleeves, plates, dowels, anchors, and curb guards are placed before concrete cures where possible. That is cleaner than drilling and patching every connection afterward.

How we specify, fabricate, and deliver Concrete Work
Concrete Work is custom-fabricated or coordinated for pads, curbs, sidewalks, drainage surrounds, loading areas, exterior slabs, and equipment bases, where fit, access, durability, and site conditions matter more than a stock product. The Grate Guys builds concrete work around drawings, measurements, traffic duty, finish exposure, and installation constraints using formed concrete, reinforcing, embedded steel, frames, anchors, and drainage interfaces coordinated to the approved scope, made to order in our Toronto shop, licensed, insured, and WSIB-covered, with a workmanship warranty on every order, supplied and installed across the GTA and shipped Canada-wide.

Yes. Approved Ontario projects can include site visits, field measurements, installation, repair review, and coordination for related concrete, drainage, access, or fabrication work where appropriate.
