What to expect from dock seals and shelters
Compression controlled
Foam seals need enough compression to close the gap without tearing fabric or overloading the wall. Shelters need arms and curtains that flex with trailer movement.
Building face protected
Mounting boards, steel angles, bumpers, and wall backup are checked before new seals go on. A seal attached to damaged cladding will fail with the next trailer impact.
Water kept off threshold
Head curtains, side pads, and drainage details help keep rain and snow from entering the dock. Weather control is the point, not just closing the visual gap.
